Удаление скаченного файла на JS

Question

Нашел в интернете код который удаляет последний скаченный файл, но что бы его удалить надо открывать popup.html и там нажимать кнопку remove, попытался подкорректировать чтобы удалялось автоматически, после корректировки удаляется само, но для этого надо открывать popup.html, подскажите что не так ?
