OpenSSL при создании сертификата по запросу на сертификат возникает ошибка "unable to load private key"?

Краткое описание проблемы:

Имеется локально настроенный удостоверяющий центр через openSSL. Выполняю команду создания сертификата по запросу на сертификат через командную строку. Все работает. Пишу скрипт на java, который запускаю через командную строку в директории, где лежит запрос на сертификат в файле "user.csr". Все работает. Запускаю ту же программу на java через tomcat, упакованную в war файл, вылезает ошибка "unable to load private key". (при этом отказывается работать только на виртуалке на удаленном сервере. На локальной машине все работает замечательно). openSSL работает с алгоритмами рутокена. Файл конфигурации openSSL следующий:

В данном файле две строчки в конце dynamic_path = /Users/aspostnov/bin/openSSLca/rtengine.dll MODULE_PATH = /Users/aspostnov/bin/openSSLca/rtpkcs11ecp.dll как раз должны подключать алгоритмы рутокена. Проблема, видимо, заключается в том, что система отказывается видеть эти файлы. Вопрос почему? Как это исправить?

Выполняемая команда находится в файле createUserCrt.cmd. Сама команда: openssl ca -in user.csr -out user.crt -batch

При запуске из tomcat System.getProperty("user.dir") указывает на ту директорию, где находится файл createUserCrt.cmd и user.csr. Это видно по логам из tomcat:
