Kotlin. Attempt to invoke virtual method 'android.content.pm.ApplicationInfo android.content.Context.getApplicationInfo()' on a null object reference

У меня есть layout:

При попытке перейти на данное окно вылетает ошибка:

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'android.content.pm.ApplicationInfo android.content.Context.getApplicationInfo()' on a null object reference

На строке : internal var txtName: TextView? = findViewById(R.id.name)

Хотя id определен и код его видит. Подскажите,в чем может быть ошибка ?
