Помогите разобрать код на php

Есть код, нужно разобраться в работе приведенного коде и исправить как можно больше ошибок и предупреждения. Закомментировать исправления. Мне бы хоть понять что он в общем делает, отдельные функции я понял в принципе как работают. Буду рад любой подсказке, заранее спасибо.
