Перестал работать apache

перекинул свой сайт на виртуальный сервер. Для того, чтобы мой .htaccess заработал, выполнил Код: AllowOverride All в файле конфигурации апача.

После этого получил следующее сообщение

Код: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Если удаляю .htaccess файл, то сервер запускается. Получается дело в том, что написано в самом .htaccess, там написано следующее

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

RewriteRule . index.php

Что не так? Мб я забыл еще что-то сделать, чтобы все корректно работало?
