Не получается установить nvidia-driver

Во время установки cuda, появляется следующая ошибка:

Следует отметить, что установка происходит при помощи run-file.

Предыдущие попытки установить nvidia-smi, например, выдавали:

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
